Georgie and Andy's wedding

Last weekend I was privileged to shoot the wedding of Georgie and Andy Wlikins. Working with two other experienced photographers, Derek and David, I was busy from 11am until 9.30pm. Starting with the groom and groomsmen, as they prepared at the best man's house, and ending with the First Dance of the happy couple.
The wedding was at the charming King's Chapel in Amersham. Although this has a bright airy interior, being a gloomy October day outside, not a lot of natural light was available. So I set up my studio strobe lights on the balcony, illuminating the dome ceiling above, which spread plenty of lovely soft light around the chapel. For the shots outside later, on-camera flash was needed to supplement the daylight.
It was a lovely occasion, a beautiful bride and eight lovely bridesmaids. The lads looked really great too. So I had plenty of beauty to photograph! And as a bonus the evening entertainment featured a spectacular fire show, which required an altogether different photographic approach.
Together with the great shots by Derek and David, I think we have a good record of the day.
